About DK
We have a passion for creating an enjoyable experience and transforming homes.
Since 2020 was such an unpredictable year, we somehow thought it made sense to start a side business. While people were staying home more, the demand for home improvement services went through the roof. So drawing from previous experience, we got to work painting an entire 4,500 square foot house that summer. One thing led to another, and now we’re working throughout the Lowcountry all year long.
We like to think this business has been in the works for much longer. Both of us grew up working summer jobs, crafting our skills, and learning from the best. We were already handy before our professional teaching careers began. It’s that career that brought us together, and a special volunteer project that helped us see the potential for what we’re seeing today.
As school teachers who started doing this as a side hustle, running this business full-time is not something we were expecting. However, with the right team, we’re building the dream. We love to see transformation, and we are honored that you would entrust us with your home to make it happen!
